What is it?

MoanBox is a Ren'Py tool for playing sexy sounds on a semi-generated basis.

Ever played an adult game, where the sexy scenes are ruined by the absence of sound effects, and especially moans? This project is a way of implementing an easy solution to this problem, so that games can become of a higher quality.

What does it require?

I tried to make MoanBox as standalone as possible, and as easy to use as possible. There is a README file in the project that explains pretty much everything needed to get started. It basically boils down to:

• Including the files to the project
• Having sample audio files that contains moans, inhales and exhales
• Initializing the tool in two steps
• Start playing sounds
• Varying the built-in intensity stat to get more or less intense results in the audio form

The intensity stat does what you'd expect it to do. It just plays files on a semi-random basis by selecting more-or-less intense audio samples, and then playing it back. It is quite difficult to explain, just try it out in the included sample project 😁.

Note: minimal release is just the custom files that are required to operate MoanBox. It does not include the Ren'Py executable.

Does it work on mobile?

It should. It's just Python code and there's nothing special about what I've written. If you are a game creator and have trouble with MoanBox, do not hesitate to contact me! I should be able to help you 😀.

Are there other samples?

I do have a few audio files laying around, but they are full-on recordings and would require spending some time cleaning them, cutting them and sorting them accordingly. If you're interested in them, just create a community thread, or contact me on Discord!
